• Be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction
• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breaches.

4. Pricing and Payment

4.1 Fees

Our pricing consists of:

• Monthly subscription fees for your chosen plan (Starter, Pro, or Enterprise)
• Pass-through costs from AI providers at their standard rates (0% markup)
• Any additional charges for services beyond your plan limits

4.2 Billing

Monthly subscription fees are billed in advance. Provider costs are billed based on actual usage. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in these terms.

4.3 Credits

Pre-purchased credits are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and are non-refundable. Promotional bonus credits may have different expiration terms as specified at the time of the promotion.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

5.1 Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use api-hub.ai to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Generate or distribute malicious content, spam, or malware
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble our services
• Use the service for any illegal or fraudulent activities
• Bypass rate limits or other technical restrictions
• Resell or redistribute our services without explicit written permission

5.2 Content Restrictions

You must comply with the acceptable use policies of the underlying AI providers. Content that violates their terms may result in service suspension or termination.

6. Service Availability

6.1 Uptime and Reliability

While we strive to provide reliable service, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Service availability depends on our infrastructure and third-party AI providers. Enterprise customers may have separate SLA agreements.

6.2 Maintenance

We reserve the right to perform scheduled maintenance. We will provide advance notice when possible but may need to perform emergency maintenance without notice.

7. Data and Privacy

7.1 Data Handling

We process your API requests and forward them to AI providers. We do not store the content of your requests or responses beyond what is necessary for billing and service operation. For details, see our Privacy Policy.

7.2 Data Retention

We retain metadata (timestamps, token counts, model names) for billing and analytics purposes. This data is kept for up to 24 months.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Service IP

All rights, title, and interest in api-hub.ai, including our software, trademarks, and documentation, remain our property. These terms do not grant you any intellectual property rights except as explicitly stated.

8.2 Your Content

You retain all rights to content you submit through our service. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to process and transmit your content to fulfill our services.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, API-HUB.AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Our total liability for all claims arising from your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, you will not be charged for subsequent billing periods, but no refunds will be provided for the current period.

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. We will provide notice when possible.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the service. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
